Reopening guidelines

During this unprecedented time, the leadership of Rise Church along with most of you desire a return to corporate fellowship. Additionally, we understand that changes will need to be implemented before moving forward in larger gatherings. The Rise elders have discussed ways to follow state laws (Romans 13:1-2) and at the same time provide procedures that follow CDC guidelines for safe small (10 or less) gatherings. The elders continue to believe our small group fellowships are a vital part of a spiritually healthy church. As we desire the return of fellowshipping of ourselves together, at the same time we want to start cautiously, and as much as possible, provide a safe place for the gathering of God’s people.

To that end, we are providing suggested guidelines for small group bible studies.

1.

Meetings should maintain groups of 10 or less including the group leader.

2.

At this time, we are encouraging parents to not bring children unless agreed upon by the small group.

5.

Encourage respiratory etiquette, including covering coughs and sneezes.

6.

The host must provide a place to wash hands or alcohol-based hand rubs containing at least 60% alcohol.

7.

Groups should refrain from touching, shaking hands or hugging people that they do not have physical contact with regularly.

14.

Encourage group members to report to the group leader, any safety and health concerns, such as possible exposure to a person with, or being tested for the Coronavirus.
